Payment information

FragranceHouse accepts two payment methods only: Payfast secure checkout, and a system-generated invoice paid by EFT into our business bank account.

Payfast handles card and Instant EFT payments on its own secure page. FragranceHouse never sees or stores your card details.

If you prefer to pay by invoice, choose the invoice option at checkout. We email you a system-generated invoice with our banking details and your order number as the payment reference. Your order is packed as soon as the payment reflects.

We do not accept cash, buy-now-pay-later, or payments through any channel other than Payfast and our invoiced bank account. If anyone sends you other banking details, please contact us before paying.

Your order can show one of the following states: payment pending, payment successful, payment failed, payment cancelled, payment under review, or refund processed.

An order is only marked as paid once Shopify and Payfast confirm the payment. Returning to a success page on its own does not confirm payment.

All prices are shown in South African rand and are treated as VAT-inclusive where legally applicable.
